Dear West Orange Community and Beyond
2021 has been quite a year to say the least and with the leaves on the ground, Thanksgiving is upon us. This is a time of reflection. It is also a time for gratitude and kindness. We have much to be thankful for and that includes being thankful for our West Orange community.
Every year, the day before Thanksgiving the West Orange Chamber of Commerce along with the UNICO, Rotary and Lions Club hosts a luncheon. This year a luncheon is not feasible but a wonderful lunchtime 60 minute virtual Thanksgiving event certainly is.

The Guest Speaker is Zack Rosenburg the founder and CEO of SBP, an extraordinary foundation that has rebuilt over 6000 homes that were destroyed by natural disasters such as hurricane Katrina. Zack’s realization that a delayed recovery causes extensive human impact and that too many survivors suffer unnecessarily, drove SBP’s mission of shrinking time between disaster and recovery. His story will inspire one and all.
This event also serves as an opportunity to support our local food pantry, Holy Trinity Food Pantry, which has been key in providing food for our local families, especially these past two years. Donations to the food pantry may be made directly and electronically here: https://bit.ly/35FyBgm
